Riem Arcaden Run 2026: Every kilometre helps 🏃♀️💙
On Saturday, 12 September 2026, it is time to run, walk, cheer and celebrate again: the Riem Arcaden Run is back for another round.
The event starts at 12 noon at Platz der Menschenrechte, behind the Riem Arcaden. You can choose between a 5 km or 10 km run, 5 km walking and an 800-metre children’s run. The route takes you through BUGA Park to BUGA Lake and back.
But this event is about more than your personal finish time. By registering, you support the Bayerische Krebsgesellschaft e. V. Your entry fee includes a €7 donation, while €3 from every children’s run registration goes directly to the charity. The funds support counselling services and self-help groups for people affected by cancer and their families. 💙
Before the start, you can get moving with a shared warm-up. There will also be music, live hosting and a children’s programme around the event. And of course, a finisher’s goodie bag will be waiting for you at the finish line. 🎉
Online registration is open until Thursday, 10 September 2026, at 6 pm. After that, you can still register in person at the Riem Arcaden on Friday, 11 September, or on the day of the event up to 45 minutes before your respective start time. Please note that a late registration fee of €5 applies.
